Our story: filling a gap

In France, the paper guide from the Ceramics and Glass Review served as the reference until 2013. Unfortunately, it was not republished.

It is to fill this gap, and reconnect ceramists with their audience in today’s digital world, that CeraMaps was born.

We imagined this platform so that ceramists are visible and everyone can find where to go to admire, buy or learn ceramics according to their interests.

Our story: Creamik, the founders of CeraMaps

CeraMaps is an initiative by the professional training school Creamik. Founded on values of transmission, sharing and excellence, Creamik is committed to training future ceramic artisans and supporting the profession.

The school emphasizes practical and immersive teaching, allowing its students to acquire solid know-how and develop their own artistic expression. It’s from this passion for ceramics and the desire to connect the entire community that CeraMaps was born, to extend beyond training the visibility and development of each individual.

How does it work?

CeraMaps is a project by and for ceramics lovers. Its success depends on our collective effort. The more profiles there are, the more visibility will increase for everyone.

Every ceramist can create and manage their profile for free. If you’re an enthusiast, you can pre-register professionals by providing their email, and we’ll then invite them to complete their profile.

This project was designed as a service to the community, aimed primarily at supporting ceramists and promoting the development of their activity, without fees or commissions, in complete transparency.

Your commitment is crucial to keeping this guide alive and ensuring its long-term success.
